Q: I've never traveled alone before. Will I feel safe?
A: Absolutely. We handle every detail from the moment you land in Marrakesh. Our concierge team and one of the retreat facilitators will meet you at the airport, transport you to the villa, and remain available throughout your stay. You'll be in a secure, private villa with 9 other women and our team. Plus, Morocco is an incredibly welcoming destination for Muslim women. We have the managers at the villa available for further security at the resort and as our tour guides when we go out as a group so all should be well insha’Allah.
Q: What if I can't get 4 days off work?
A: If taking 4 days for yourself feels impossible, that's precisely why you need this retreat. High-achieving women often struggle to prioritize their relational wellbeing because they're indispensable everywhere else. This retreat will teach you how to honour your needs without guilt starting with giving yourself permission to be here.
Q: Can I bring my husband?
A: This is a women-only transformational space. The work we do requires vulnerability and honesty that's only possible in sisterhood. Your husband will benefit tremendously from the woman who returns but the retreat itself is for you alone.
Q: Is this Islamically appropriate?
A: Absolutely. Every element of this retreat is designed with Islamic principles at the core. All teachings are aligned with Islamic guidance on marriage, feminine leadership, and communication. The villa is a private, women only space. All food is halal. We begin and end each day with reflection and prayer time.
Q: What if I'm in a really difficult situation a struggling marriage or years of failed dating?
A: For married women: This retreat is designed for women who are committed to their marriages and willing to examine their own patterns. If you're in an abusive situation, this retreat is not the appropriate intervention you'd need one-on-one support first. However, if your marriage is struggling due to communication breakdowns, emotional distance, or chronic conflict (not abuse), this retreat will give you powerful tools for transformation.
For single women: If you've been dating unsuccessfully for years or keep attracting the wrong men, this retreat will help you identify and shift the patterns causing this. However, if you're completely closed off to dating or marriage, this content won't be relevant for you. This is for women who genuinely want partnership and are ready to examine what might be blocking it.
Q: I'm an introvert. Will I be forced to share publicly?
A: We honor different processing styles. While there are group workshop components, we also create space for private reflection, journaling, and optional sharing. You'll never be forced to disclose anything you're not comfortable with.
Q: What happens after the retreat?
A: You'll receive lifetime access to all workbooks, frameworks, and materials. You'll also be added to a private WhatsApp group with your cohort for ongoing support and implementation. Many women continue monthly check-ins with Sister Nafisa afterward through her ongoing programs if they want continued guidance.
Q: What's your refund policy?
A: Due to the intimate nature of this retreat and advance bookings required (villa, catering), deposits are non-refundable. However, if an emergency prevents you from attending, you may transfer your spot to another woman (subject to approval) or move your booking to the 2027’s retreat date based on availability.
Q: I'm engaged/in a serious relationship heading toward marriage. Is this for me?
A: Absolutely! If you're in a committed relationship heading toward marriage, this retreat can serve you powerfully. The communication patterns we address affect all intimate relationships, and it's actually ideal to learn these skills before marriage.
